EVERYDAY MENTOR - Andrew Gray - 64th Edition

Everyday Mentor

Andrew Gray

Hello Reader

Welcome to the latest edition of Everyday Mentor!

Today is a very brief encouragement to you all. Hopefully it hits the mark for many of you. Let's get into it.

"Originally You"

Life is way too short to waste it on being a cheap copycat of somebody else, including a manufactured version of you.

In the same way that a cheap cover of a great song, is an insult to the original composer . . . So too is being a cheap copycat of another person to your original creator.

You cannot press oil out of the gift that somebody else has been given.

Only what you do have can produce what you were designed to produce.

Even your finger prints agree with my thoughts today.

You are a one of a kind amongst billions!

Maybe it's time to stop moderating yourself so much. Perhaps you should commit to the full version of who you were always meant to be!

Newsflash: There will always be people in this life who hate the original version of you, as well as the modified version of you!

Dwell on that for a moment . . . Therefore, be originally you!

If you don't, you risk becoming one of those people who also hate the modified version of you.

Three simple steps to stay original;

  1. Stop trying to please everybody. It's impossible anyway.
  2. Say what you mean, and mean what you say.
  3. Stop living in fear of other people's unarticulated disapproval.

You don't need anyone's permission to enjoy your life. You certainly don't need permission from anyone to be originally you. The fact that you are even here in this life IS the creator's stamp of approval.
